NAF Dance presents: Ham Sandwiches and Discipline

On Tour: We have never programmed a dance theatre piece so NAF Dance theatre’s production of Ham Sandwiches and Discipline will be something entirely new for fit-up audiences. Nóra Ni Anluain Fay and Ben Sullivan have wowed audiences at the Galway Theatre Festival and in many of the larger venues and we are hopeful of a similar reaction in West Cork.

Witness the passionate drive of the GAA fused with dance, disco and comedy in HAM SANDWICHES AND DISCIPLINE.

From mammies’ sideline screaming, batty umpires, manic pundits, Tayto eating in Croke Park and teenage club socials, we delve into what makes this sport a national tradition. While injecting this hive of Irishness with campiness and humour we glimpse what growing up can be like in Ireland and what can shape an Irish identity.
