Sharon is ‘PURE’ sick of herself.

After another disastrous breakup slash firing, she moves back to her hometown, works in a bar, joins the local drama group and, in a shocking turn of events, falls in love. She is confronted with the steps everyone expects her to take; get married, buy house, have baby. Repeat final step until dead. And it does not sit well. This is the backwards love story of a girl who is figuring out what she wants, just as she realises what she has.

“There’ll be no hanky panky under my roof. That’s what the back seat of a Toyota was invented for, Sharon.”

Irene Kelleher is a graduate of ‘UCC Drama and Theatre Studies’ and has toured internationally with several groups. Her Film and TV credits include ‘Game Of Thrones’ and ‘Fair City’.

Marie O’Donovan is a Cork native and well versed in all performance mediums. She’s toured extensively with various Shakespearean plays (Cyclone Rep). Marie can be seen later this year in Cork’s Christmas Adult Panto (Chattyboo).

Mark Griffin, hails from Clare and is a graduate of Bow Street. His most recent film work includes ‘Writing Home’; and ‘Don’t Leave Home’; as well as the short film ‘Kubrick by Candlelight.’ He is based in Dublin.

‘Sharon’ is writer Katie Holly’s second play.
